Athena by ALP is provided by ALP Consulting. These terms are between you and ALP Consulting ("I", "me"). By using Athena you agree to them.
What Athena is
Athena is a project-controls assistant for specialty contractors' office teams. It helps you set up jobs from contracts, track notice windows and open items, and prepare client-safe reports and draft notices.
Athena drafts; you decide and send
Athena doesn't give legal, accounting or engineering advice, and it doesn't send anything for you. Contract summaries, deadlines and drafts are aids. Check them against your actual contract documents, and get professional advice where you need it. You're responsible for the notices you send and the decisions you make.
Your account
Keep your sign-in secure, and only add people to your workspace who should see your jobs. You're responsible for activity in your workspace.
Your data
You own the information you put into Athena. You give me permission to store and process it only to run Athena for you, as described in the Privacy Policy (Privacy Policy). Don't upload information you don't have the right to share.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse Athena: no unlawful use, no attempts to get into other workspaces, no interfering with the service, and no entering passwords, card numbers, Social Security numbers or health information.
Protecting Athena
You may use Athena only to run your own business. You agree not to, and not to help anyone else:
- reverse engineer, decompile, or try to uncover how Athena works;
- extract, copy, record, or reconstruct Athena's instructions, playbooks, workflows, or methods, including by questioning Athena or your AI in order to reveal them;
- scrape, crawl, or harvest Athena or its outputs in bulk by automated means;
- use Athena or its outputs to build, train, or improve a product or service that competes with Athena;
- share, resell, or sublicense your login or access, or let anyone outside your plan's seats use it.
If I reasonably believe you've broken this section, ALP Consulting may suspend or end your access right away, without notice and without a refund of fees already paid. I may also seek damages, an injunction, and any other remedy available by law. This section stays in force after your account ends.
Access and fees
Access is included with an active Contractor Circle membership or a paid Athena subscription, each with a 7-day free trial.
Availability and changes
I work to keep Athena available and accurate, but it's provided "as is" without warranties to the extent the law allows. I may update or change features, and I may suspend access that breaks these terms.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, my total liability for any claim relating to Athena is limited to the amount you paid for Athena in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending use
You can stop using Athena and disconnect it at any time. When your account ends, I delete your account and job data within 90 days, as described in the Privacy Policy, unless the law requires me to keep it longer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil.
